Naughty, naughty!

Yay, my internet connection is back!  It went off before Christmas for about 10 days.    Anyhow, the stocking was done with time to spare and we had a lovely Christmas.  Did you?  I hope so!

Well, on to the matter in hand...

I swear I only went into John Lewis to see if there was any cotton dk in the sale, but I came out with this mixing bowl that I'd had my eye on since before Christmas (half-price)...

and rather a lot of pure wool in 4 colours, chestnut, wheat, mulberry and powder...

colours not quite truly replicated

This isn't even half of it..., heck, it's not even a quarter of it!  I am wondering where I'm going to hide it before Mr yrh gets home from work...

and I'm also wondering, stripes or squares?

  10. Such lovely mulled colours of yarn, looks gorgeous and soft too. I WISH with all my heart that we had a John Lewis somewhere in the South East, the nearest for us is London ... I think we all do a little bit of hiding from our other halves (hee hee) I managed to get mine into a yarn shop before Christmas as I am planning to knit him a man beanie... he was shocked at the price of good quality yarn, maybe I shouldn't have taken him in after all!! xox Happy, healthy New Year to you and your family x
