Embroidered cushion

My latest bit of embroidery from the template in issue 2 of 'Mollie Makes'. I enjoyed making this, it was nice to do something different.



My favourite bits are the birds and the blue flowers on the right.


The cushion cover is homemade too - it used to be a curtain.

  6. Oh Wow this is beautiful! I saw Mollie Makes on the supermarket but I didn't buy it, kinda regretting this now! This is really lovely :-) x

  15. Hi Victoria, i had been admiring that design too in Mollie Makes, and have so many w.i.p's at the moment i daren't start it yet, but you have really inspired me to just drop some projects and have a go! yours is so pretty and neat.
    I have a very simular piece of fabric in my box, cut offs from ikea curtains!! (who really needs 3m curtains in England?!!)

  16. Ooooh this is lovely. Very neat too - you are very talented! I spend too much time buying magazines and not enough actually making things in them so well done for taking that step! Although having said that I love the stuff in Mollie Makes and I'm working on some Granny Squares based on the pattern in the same issue...
