This week...

on my hook...

joining some squares that used to be a garland. They're being turned into a cushion.

Pattern: 'Grandma's All Square' by The Royal Sisters

in my kitchen...

a cranberry bakewell tart (from 'Feast' by Nigella Lawson). I try to find an excuse to make this every Winter. As if an excuse were needed.

and marmalade making - Seville orange and tangerine this year. It could have done with more tangerine and less orange but it's good all the same. And such a beautiful colour.

in a vase...

colourful tulips.

elsewhere...

the lebkuchen addiction continues.

Happy Friday!

  2. Loving what you're up to....bake well is a huge favourite, and I've made it loads (often GRamsey) but never from Feast, but I do have it so will give it a try....yum!

I also have an addiction to those little spicy biscuits, what do they put in them? My husband thinks I'm mad, but then there's all the more for me!

Love the colour of the marmalade, I have some quince jelly I made last year and the colour is just gorgeous.

  9. Hello Victoria
I've been resisting getting my crochet hooks out but after seeing your cushion I'm no longer sure! I wanted to try and stick to 2 projects on the go rather than get carried away with different ideas. I feel a severe urge to get hooky this weekend :0)

Love the marmalade colour too, I have a thing for orange and mustard colours at the moment. Hope you have a great weekend too and I'm off to the shops now to get me some lebkuchen ! x

  14. My parents in law used to sell all sorts of Lebkuchen in the delicatessen they owned before they retired.

My mouth is watering at the thought of that jewel like marmalade!
