I'm the same Victoria, I never really think we have hearts in our home but they seem to be everywhere! My favourite is a heart shaped pebble we found on the beach years ago xox Happy V.Day too xox
Long before it became fashionable to do so, I started collecting hearts. It has now taken over my house from the front garden, all the way through the house to the back garden. New visitors must think I have some sort of love fixation, but there is just so many absolutely awesome heart decor elements out there. And not to mention the stuff one can crochet. It's (in my opinion) such a pure form.
I have an award for you over at my blog, if you would like to accept. If you don't participate in blog awards, that's fine, I just wanted to show you my appreciation for your blog. Elaine
I adore your hearts, I've seen crocheted lace doilies partially covering some modern linen beige cushions and it looks stunning, I certainly want to try it myself. I've just crocheted a teddy bear cell phone cover for my niece's Tracfone LG800G smart prepaid phone ($50) as she has already scratched the large touch screen already, now all her friends want cutesy animal phone covers instead of their bling sparkly expensive phone covers. I guess there's always a fashion trend amongst the teens. But I'm going to investigate how she gets to only pay $7/month for Tracfone service, that sounds super cheap. What I love about crochet is that you can make the most devine lacey items at a cheap price compared to a similar item in the mall. Now I'll never be broke at Christmas from all the shopping, I'm going to start now crocheting all the Xmas presents and peoples names on the items to make it personal.
Happy Valentines Day!
