~ sewing in some ends on my granny square blanket ~
~ nursing some callouses on my hand, caused by weight lifting and sore thanks to swinging around some hefty kettlebells at the gym this morning ~
~ glad it's not raining and wondering whether I can go out without an umbrella this afternoon (I think it's rained every day in April where I live) ~
~ thanking my lucky stars that our council has a sibling rule when it comes to allocating school places - at least 5 of the nursery children that live closer to the school than we do haven't got a place in reception ~
~ wishing you all a great weekend ~

that looks to be a beautiful blanket! Sewing in the ends is my least favorite part though... but it looks so nice afterwards! I hope your hands feel better!
ReplyDeleteYour blanket is looking great so far, can't wait to see it finished, the colours you've chosen are very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSewing in ends with sore hands ~ ouch!!
ReplyDeleteGood news about the school. :)
Happy weekend,

I don't envy your sewing in of ends and I read in my local newspaper this week that many children in our area lost out as school admissions were up dramatically this year. I felt a HUGE sigh of relief when Middle Bear got his first choice placement granted. It's quite stressful!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend my lovely

Ouch - your poor hands. I hope they heal by the time all those ends are sewn in.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous weekend,

The crochet is looking lovely, happy weekend, stay dry.

I like the sewing bit - it's the making squares I lose patience with.
ReplyDeleteAnd you know I can't moan (especially this week) about the weather - but grrrrr!
And don't get me started on school admissions! I'll save that for another time...fee x
I am your newest follower and have just learnt to crochet! Hurray!
