For my brother...

Oldshoremore, Sutherland.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

  8. Victoria - I am sending you an extra large and extremely squashy bosomed hug (too many scones of late = even nicer to hug!)
I hope you are managing to stay sane and function - the rest will follow.

  15. Hi Victoria, I'm not sure but to me it looks like yesterday was the anniversary of your brother's death, or not?
As we get older there are many special days when we think of the loved ones who have passed, it's just a sign that they are and always will be in our hearts.
A great poem by the way!!!

  16. Victoria I'm so glad you stopped by, but I'm so sorry that it's such sad events that have connected us. My thoughts are with you and your family. I've found the hardest thing is trying to go through normal events, I've stopped and stared at people who talk to me and I wonder what the hell they're on about as I question in my head how don't they know my world has changed. Slowly slowly the world is starting to come into focus once more. It's a different version, but one I can function in. I wish you peace and am sending you loads of love.
