Having only one row of the Spring blanket to complete (6 squares to go as I type). Of course it's going to need a border but at least that won't involve quite so many ends.
A finished sock kitty. This was a kit from sock creatures and a lovely thing to make with my eldest. My only criticism is that the kit contained only black thread and, as we started it on holiday, that's what we had to use. We did the face at home where we had more choice of colour.
A bunch of the most wonderful double daffodils
More blue skies. On the day this was taken it was warm enough for the children to play out without coats after school. The rain is back now, but the dry spell was good while it lasted.

Wishing you all a happy weekend

Keep staring at the blue skies picture - it was real, it did happen and if we are very lucky and keep everything crossed it might happen again! Love the sock kitty x Jane

I was beginning to think I might have dreamed up that lovely sunny blue-skied day last week, but if you saw it too it must have been real!!!
ReplyDeleteWe need more of them to keep the happiness going!

It seems strange to have put only black thread into that kit.
ReplyDeleteThe blue sky and the Daffodils are super and I hope to see blue sky again soon.
That blanket will soon be finished.
