52 weeks of happy - 12/52

Putting up a couple of shelves so that I can display some of my Highland Stoneware. The plates were wasted sitting in the cupboard where no-one could see them.

Another birthday party, although youngest doesn't turn 5 until the 26th. Both my babies were born in March despite neither of them having a March due date - one baby was late and one was early. #2 had a super birthday party (held jointly with a class-mate). The sight of 28 4-5 year olds dancing Gangnam style will stay with me for a while!

A stack of gingerbread pancakes. The recipe appears in Lorraine Pascale's 'Fast, Fresh and Easy Food' book and is available on the BBC website (just follow the link). I can recommend them. So good with maple syrup and stewed apple.

Some weird blog stats made me laugh this week. I'm not quite sure what happened on Facebook on Sunday but it certainly brought me a lot of visitors.

  9. I love shelves with hidden treasures on them. We have one above our bed and hung another in our daughters room. I had to restrain myself from hanging one in each room of the house! :)
